What It Is:
This is a math worksheet featuring a cut-and-paste activity. The worksheet shows a series of mittens with numbers, but some mittens are blank. At the bottom of the page are additional mittens with numbers that need to be cut out and glued into the correct blank spaces to complete the numerical sequence. The numbers present are 2, 4, 5, 7, 4, 6, 8, 9, and the cut-out numbers are 8, 3, 5, 7, 10, 6.
Grade Level Suitability:
Suitable for Preschool and Kindergarten. It reinforces number recognition, sequencing, and fine motor skills (cutting and pasting), which are important skills at these grade levels.
Why Use It:
This worksheet helps children practice number recognition and sequencing skills in a fun, engaging way. The cut-and-paste element adds a hands-on activity that can improve fine motor skills. It provides a visual and tactile learning experience.
How to Use It:
First, have the student write their name at the top. Then, instruct them to cut out the mittens at the bottom of the page. Next, have them identify the missing numbers in the sequences and glue the corresponding mitten into the correct blank space.
Target Users:
Preschoolers and Kindergarteners learning to recognize numbers and understand numerical order will benefit from this worksheet. Special education students who need extra practice with these concepts can also use this worksheet.
